Join Our Team

The New Canadians Health Centre provides coordinated and multidisciplinary refugee-centered primary health care for a target population of government assisted and privately sponsored refugees as well as refugee claimants. Informed by refugees’ priorities that are communicated through culturally, medically, and epidemiologically appropriate assessments, the supports create ready access to a comprehensive set of clinic and community services. However, due to the limited capacity we are only accepting Government Assisted Refugee (GAR) at this moment.

We are a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team of experienced family medicine physicians and specialists with expertise in refugee health, working side-by-side with nurses, mental health therapists, and settlement counsellors, aided by community support workers, cultural brokers, social workers, and cultural/language interpreters, to support healthy and productive new Canadians contributing to the social, cultural, and economic well-being of their communities.

We Are Hiring

The New Canadians Health Centre’s aim is to improve the health and well-being of refugees through the provision of culturally and linguistically competent health services and resources to facilitate successful integration into the community.

Join the team and help us reach our goals.
